Chloë presents darkly delicious Story Cabaret bursting with bittersweet love and dangerous desires. 20th – The Hidden Hero performance to invited audience at Independence Trust
I devised a storymaking project for a group at the Cheltenham branch of the charity which supports people with depression / anxiety. After a couple of playful workshops that introduced key storytelling skills, I invited participants to imagine their own inner, hidden hero: the opposite of what they felt doesn’t work well for them currently in the everyday world. So we have a Red Riding Hood who is confident about doing something new; a cheeky Jack who really doesn’t care what anyone else thinks; and a Pied Piper who enjoys attracting attention. Plus original fiction. Part of Cheltenham Poetry Festival 2018.
