Chloë tells thrilling stories of sea monsters, pirates and magic in a round-the-world tour of epic adventures: from Gloucester Docks to Ireland, China and the Caribbean.
Find out why the sea is salt, why the Japanese gods of oceans is still angry – and what was the island that swam away? 45 minutes
• The Beach (with real, soft, golden sand! And palm trees!) has been created in the square right outside the National Waterways Museum at Llanthony Warehouse GL1 2EH.
• Event run by Gloucester Quays
You can walk here from Gloucester city centre: follow Southgate Street to the pointy sculpture, take the pedestrian crossing and continue down the hill into Gloucester Docks, follow signs for National Waterways Museum and Gloucester Quays shopping.
