Programme of events: Tenbury Wells Mistletoe Festival

10:30–13:00 Fairy Stars at the library (Teme St). Come and make a mistletoe star with twinkly lights (£3 each) to carry in the Santa Parade. Relocates to the Pump Rooms at 13:30. Other children’s activities at the library all morning.
11:00 SENSE/Temeside House: Mistletoe Queen and Holly Prince start the Kissathon, which runs until 16:00. Pucker up and help beat the world record of 402 kisses under the mistletoe!
11:15 Regal Cinema, Teme St: Crowning Ceremoney for Mistletoe Queen and Holly Prince. The mistletoe entourage are on walkabout around town until 16:30 welcoming visitors and giving away mistletoe sprigs
11:30 Mistletoe Tales at the Regal: family storytelling show with Chloë + local junior dance group
12:30–16:00 Zorbing at Tenbury Swimming Pool, details from 01584 810 448
12:45 Talent Spotlight at the Regal: young musicians audition for a spot in next summer’s Tenbury Music Festival
13:45 Mistletoe Tales at the Regal repeat
14:15 Talent Spotlight repeat
15:00 Druids thanksgiving ceremony at The Burgage, all welcome
15:15 Winter Warmers at the Regal: performance poetry and local music
15:45 for 16:10 Mistletoe Queen and consort lead the way to the Pump Rooms for the fantastic outdoor projection – as the sun sets over Tenbury Wells – of Under the Mistletoe video of local people telling their stories about the town and its mistletoe heritage
16:30 Santa Parade (town centre roads closed 16:30–17:30)
20:00 Story Jam + Festive Fantastic at the King’s Head, Cross St. Local storytellers and Chloë entertain with historical and seasonal tales (age 18+)
